Big week coming! On sideline for Giants Patriots with TriCaster

August 24, 2008 By: Philip Category: NewTek, Sports, Technology 3 Comments →

Have a great week coming up! I’ve been invited by the SuperBowl Champion, New York Giants to come to the pre-season Giants v. Patriots game and do two TriCaster tests!

First test - Live sideline pre-game webcast
Second test - Live locker room post-game webcast

What makes the pre-game webcast cool is that we are going to be testing a live TriCaster webcast using a cellular modem. Should be a fun week and could lead to some awesome live coverage for NFL fans this upcoming season.

Will keep you posted on how the test goes.

Police Officer and Corrections Officer Commit Fraud in Bigfoot Hoax!

August 19, 2008 By: Philip Category: World Gone Wild No Comments →

After a massive press conference last week, Matt Whitton & Rick Dyer had the media abuzz with Bigfoot talk. The top story on the CNN website was about these two Georgia men find a bigfoot body.

Apparently they sold the ice encased body to bigfoot hunter Tom Biscardi for an undisclosed sum prior to the press conference. After the press conference the ice started melting and so did Whitton & Dyer’s story. The melting ice revealed the bigfoot to be nothing more than a very nice halloween costume.

The funny irony of this hoax is that Whitton is getting canned from his police job for being part of the fraud.
