We have all be hearing rumors for the past few weeks about the Arena Football League canceling the 2009 season. Today, the New York Times has jumped on the bandwagon of reporting this news and the story is being picked up everywhere!

During ArenaBowl last year in New Orleans, league staff and fans were all shock by the resignation of Commissioner Baker.  I guess his departure had more of an impact that any of the team owners could have imagined!

We’ll wait and see if the AFL can make a comback on 2010!

A spokesperson for the US Mint tells me that gold coins in this country, for the past month, “are being allocated because of an increased demand.”
