I would say that I’m one of the more well versed social media guys in my circle of friends and have always tried to make sure my various “tools” are linked together. Here on my blog, I’ve had Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Plaxo all integrated to allow me to do a single post and have it ripple through my social networking buffet.
Recent changes to twitter have thrown a wrench into my plans. I updated my WordPress Twitter plugin, Twitter Tools, and learned that due some changes in Twitter, I had to register my blog as a Twitter application. I’m not a programmer or web developer and once you start diving into API and various “programmer speak” my eyes glaze over and I go play FrontierVille on Facebook. I spend about 30 min trying to decipher the instructions for setting it up and then came to the conclusion that I really don’t need Twitter integrated into my blog.
Good bye Twitter on my blog.. I’ll miss you.. Actually.. I don’t think I will!
I “Heart” Boobies braceletes are creating a stir and raising awareness for breast cancer. While at Buffalo Wild Wings today, I noticed my server wearing the bracelet and asked her to take a pic.. of the bracelet.. (Your mind is in the gutter).. She didn’t really want to be on camera but handed me the controversial time so I could take my own pic.
USA Today posted a story about schools banning these bracelets. Read it HERE

During SIGGRAPH 2010, he did a presentation in the NewTek booth that showed you how he created these award winning effects. In this video he’s not show the actual Avatar worlds but he is show how they linked real cameras into LightWave 3D and allowed James Cameron to see the virtual worlds in realtime.

As a father of 4, I have a pet peeve.. So many parents are shielding their kids from failure. They are giving their kids a false sense of success and therefore setting them up with unrealistic expectations about how “great” they are. Niel Swidley of the Boston Globe wrote a very good article today called “What happened to losing”.
Gotta love this girl. After hearing her boss make insulting comments about her she decided to quit her job in a VERY public way.. Sending a sequence of 33 pictures of herself with messages written on a dry erase board. LOVE IT!
