Thanks to tech legend, Jason Calacanis of Mahalo.com for inviting me to the a Tesla Motors VIP event held at the Space X facility in Los Angeles, CA. I was excited to see the legendary Tesla Roadster, the worlds first all electric sports car.
I need one of these cars! 😉
After having some time to check out the Tesla Roadster, the crowd was shown the new Tesla S Sedan. I have always been excited about the Tesla but having 4 kids, a two seater isn’t very practical. The Tesla S on the other hand is pretty tempting!
Here are the specs that were announced during the unveiling..
Tesla S Sedan
Price: Under $50k
Seating Capacity: 5 to 7 passengers
Range: 300 miles on a single charge
Recharge time: 40 minutes
0 to 60: Under 6 seconds
Top Speed: 130mph
Storage: During the presentation they stated that it could hold a 50″ Plasma TV, a Surfboard and still have room for passengers.
I had to bolt a bit early for another dinner meeting but after I left, the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger showed up to get a test ride in this impressive vehicle. Thanks again to Jason Calacanis for the invite!

I received a text message today that was rather alarming..
“Tell everyone not to got to walmart its supposed to be a gang initiation to shoot three women sapd confirmed it”…
The message came from a trusted friend so naturally, I called my friend who is an actual SAPD officer to confirm.. HOAX.. Doesn’t look like this is isolated to south Texas. Saw a story from the Delaware that police are looking into the same hoax there..
Sounds like Walmart is getting PUNKED by Target employees.. 😉
