MTV – Video Music Awards – Day 1
Today was our first day of VMA fun on Los Angeles..
On Wedensday, I arrived in LA to setup for our TriCaster VMA Action..
First order of business was to get a rental car.. I must be living right because hertz upgraded me to a Mustang Convertible for FREE!
Check it out!
I headed down to the Paramount Studio to help get set up for the VMA streaming.. We actually setup a TriCaster on the roof of the Paramount Theater to stream the building of the red carpet.
On the way back to the MTV production office, we walked by the Transformers set and I couldn’t resist taking a picture with BUMBLEBEE!!
After leaving the Paramount lot, I headed down to my first Hollywood “fashion” party.. One of my clients Mark Scarpa is using a TriCaster Broadcast to stream live shows from a trendy new fashion spot “Live! on Sunset”. WOW! Did I feel underdressed in Vans, Jeans and a TriCaster shirt. Cool place!
Have been up since 5am CST (3am PST), I was so tired that I sold out my MTV friends that were waiting on me for dinner.. Off to bed and ready for Day 2.

Hate to say it, but I don’t think it was Bumblebee in those photos. Bumblebee was a Camero in the movie, not a Mustang. And as for the next movie…

Still a Camero. GM sponsored the heck out of the flick, and that is why the bad guys are Fords and Dodges. The Mustang in the movie was a black Saleen police car called Barricade.

Kim,
You know what. YOU’RE RIGHT! I’m a dork.. LOL.. Hmm.. I wonder what movie they are from? There were two identical Mustangs.. One clean and one dirty and dented.

the best part of the VMA’s was Kanye West’s performance at the end… the worst part was the host (what’s with the accent?)
