Something cool for owners of Mobile 6 Phones

I recently purchased a new HTC smartphone aka AT&T Tilt.. Needing support for Vista 64, I had to have mobile 6..

It’s amazing what hoops one will jump through to sync their phone to Outlook. 🙂

A feature I didn’t care for but end up loving is the included GPS.. I didn’t take “advantage” of AT&T’s offer for $10/month GPS service but after downloading Google Maps and Microsoft LiveSearch, I noticed that they both included GPS support. AWESOME!

My favorite so far is LiveSearch. The voice recognition for search, gas price and movie times based on your current location are a HUGE help.. As a weekly traveler this phone has allowed me to find MORE cool stuff to do in each city I visit..During my trip to New Orleans for the NBA All Star Game, I needed a USB cable to sync/charge my phone.. A quick search located a Radio Shack and Babbages within minutes of where I was..

Having an extra hour to kill on a recent trip to Washington, DC, I was able to find a nearby comic shop and some light reading material for the flight home was secured.

I know, I know.. I’ve given in to big brother.. It’s probably worse that we saw in “Enemy of the State”.. At least it’s a corporate phone.. 😉

Later SUCKAS!
