I can handle economic turmoil. Our country has faced hard time and come out better on the other side. That said, this morning, I found an article that gave me chills and show that our government has NO REGARD for the constitution and the checks and balances that were set in place by our founding fathers.
The headline reads:
Pentagon to detail military to bolster security
Plan would dedicate 20,000 uniformed troops inside U.S. by 2011
It’s almost like George Bush is coordinating with Obama to setup his “Well equipped domestic security force”.
What are these guys thinking? As Benjamin Franklin once said, “The man who trades freedom for security does not deserve nor will he ever receive either”.

In an recent storyline written by Grant Morrison, Batman is killed by a character named Simon Hurt in a “Empire Strikes Back Moment” Simon Hurt tells Bruce Wayne that he is really his father and had faked his death..
How STOOPID can these comic book companies get? I guess this is what happens when you lose the visionaries that created the characters and original stories. Some may remember that Marvel pulled their own idiot moment when they killed Captain America during the Civil War series.

Yes.. I’m a total nerd for 3D.. I always make sure to take the family to see the latest cool 3D movies at the local theater. Just last week, I took the crew to a preview showing of Bolt in 3D..
Kids love 3D! You can see the excitement on their faces before Hannah Montana in 3D. 🙂
Now comes something for the Dads… The NFL has just announced that they plan on broadcasting the Chargers vs Raiders game live in 3D to select theaters around the country. SWEET! The NBA pioneered this during the Finals a few years ago and their tests were insanely successful.

Tina Sherman though it would be a good idea to send sexy photos of herself to her husbands cell phone. Imagine her suprise and fear when she found those photos posted to the internet after her husband left his cell phone at an Arkansas McDonalds.

This morning, I ran across this interesting article from the New York Post website.
Excerpt:
THERE’S a worldwide run on gold coins.
Even as the price of the precious metal itself comes under pressure along with commodities like oil and copper, people around the world are demanding so many of the valuable coins that government mints are having difficulty filling orders.
A spokesperson for the US Mint tells me that gold coins in this country, for the past month, “are being allocated because of an increased demand.”
